Driver runs red light, collides with another vehicle near Balcones Heights

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle occupied by a family of three at I-410 and Fredericksburg Rd Friday.

According to Fox San Antonio, the driver of a Ford Mustang was heading north on Fredericksburg Rd when he ran the light at the intersection with I-410 and collided with a vehicle occupied by the family in the northbound lanes of I-410.

First responders transported the family, ages 16, 56, and 14, to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Following the collision, the Mustang driver fled the scene. He was later apprehended at his residence and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
