Edinburg police respond to collision with multiple injuries

EDINBURG, TX – Officers with the Edinburg Police Department were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision with at least two injuries Saturday evening.

The February 20th crash took place at about 5 p.m. within the 100 block of East Freddy Gonzalez Drive near the Edinburg Municipal Court.

Police say the 22-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2002 GMC was speeding when he collided with the rear of a 2018 Ford.

The man responsible for the crash was unhurt. However, two occupants in the Ford, a 59-year-old man and a 54-year-old, woman sustained unknown injuries.
