Man Hospitalized After Being Pinned aAgainst Wall by Elderly Corpus Christi Driver

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A man suffered serious injuries after being pinned against a wall by a vehicle in a Corpus Christi shopping center Thursday morning.

According to KRIS, the accident took place at about 11 a.m. at the Conviva Care Center within the Town and Country Shopping Center.

Officers say a woman in her 90s accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake before striking a man and pinning him against the wall.

The victim was screaming in pain upon emergency crews’ arrival at the scene. The vehicle was removed and he was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown internal injuries.
