Police arrest woman for killing a motorcyclist

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police arrested a woman on Tuesday, May 12 after she ran over a motorcyclist and then fled from the scene.

KSAT reports that 39-year-old Natalie Marxer Duval ran over a 19-year-old motorcyclist on November 15, 2019. The motorcyclist was on thrown to the ground near 11400 West Avenue, after crashing into the back of a Lexus SUV. Duval drove her Volkswagen over the motorcyclist and then dragged him 100 yards before stopping her car.

Duval and a passenger got out of the Volkswagen and then ran away from the scene of the accident. A second passenger, who owned the Volkswagen, stayed with the motorcyclist and called the police. Officers pronounced the motorcyclist dead on the scene.

On May 12, 2020, the San Antonio Police Department arrested Duval and booked her into the Bexar County Jail. Duval stated that she did not stay at the scene to assist the motorcyclist because of outstanding warrants for her arrest.

Duval is currently facing a charge of failing to stop and render aid after an accident.
