Doing all the right things after a car accident can be overwhelming, but it’s important to take photos after the accident. You’ll want to take a picture of the position of the cars and the condition of the road.
Only take accident pictures if it is safe to do so. Your health and safety come first! Get medical attention first if you are badly injured. If you are hurt, shaken up from the crash, or otherwise unable to move around and take pictures, task photography responsibilities to a passenger, loved one, or helpful witness.
Your accident scene photos should recap everything that happened. Get pictures from different viewpoints. Take close-up pictures of dents and scratches to document your car's damage. Then, step a few feet away from the wreck and capture more photos of the accident as seen from all sides.

These photos can be crucial for your case. If your injuries aren’t visible, keep records of medical documents and tests, such as x-rays or MRIs.
