2 Chevrolets collide along Ayers St. in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision near downtown last Wednesday.

The March 10th crash took place at about 11 p.m. within the 4000 block of Ayers Street at the intersection with Horne Road.

Investigators say the unidentified driver of a 2003 Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way to a 2007 Chevrolet, causing the two vehicles to collide within the intersection.

Fortunately, neither driver was injured as a direct result of the collision.
