BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision near Sams Memorial Stadium last Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. within the 400 block of West Jefferson Street near the intersection with West 4th Street.
Police say the 20-year-old male driver of a 2012 Ford failed to yield the right of way to a 2007 Ford, causing the two vehicles to collide.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
