2 injured following suspected DWI crash in north Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Two people were reportedly injured after their vehicle was T-boned by a suspected drunk driver in North Brownsville last Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred at about 1 a.m. along Central Boulevard just south of the intersection with Ruben M. Torres Boulevard.

Investigators believe the 28-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2013 Chevrolet had been drinking before he failed to yield the right of way to a 2016 Ford.

The Chevrolet collided head-on with the rear passenger’s side of the Ford, injuring both occupants. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
