2 injured, including juvenile, after rear-end collision in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Two people sustained injuries resulting from a high-speed rear-end collision on Padre Island last Thursday.

The March 18th collision took place just after 6 p.m. along Padre Island Drive near Commodores Drive.

Investigators with the Corpus Chisti Police Department say the 21-year-old male driver of a 2004 Ford was speeding when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2017 Chevrolet.

None of the three 21-year-old occupants in the Ford were injured. However, both the 47-year-old woman and her 14-year-old passenger sustained unknown injuries.
