2 people injured in speeding accident in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Two drivers reported injuries after a collision on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred early in the afternoon on Interstate 37 in Corpus Christi. Reports say that the driver of a red 2008 Nissan was not controlling his speed on the highway. This resulted in a collision with a blue 2013 Dodge. Neither car deployed its airbags in the crash. Police report that the weather was clear at the time.

Both drivers reported injuries as a result of the accident. Police have not released any information on their conditions. The driver of the Nissan was found to be at fault for the accident.
