2-vehicles involved in southeast Corpus Christi car accident

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department reported a two-vehicle collision southeast of downtown last Friday morning.

The accident occurred at about 7:42 a.m. within the 5900 block of Yorktown Boulevard just east of the intersection with South Staples Street.

Police say the male driver of a 2003 Ford was speeding when he collided with the rear passenger’s side of a 2010 Dodge.

Neither the 22-year-old man responsible for the crash nor the 32-year-old man in the Dodge was injured as a result of the crash.
