BROWNSVILLE, TX – A man was injured as the result of a head-on collision in the Mitte Cultural District last Monday night.
The incident took place shortly after 9 p.m. within the 990 block of Palm Boulevard at East Monroe Street.
Investigators say the 27-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2006 Dodge ran through a stop sign or stoplight and collided head-on with a 2005 Ford.
The man responsible for the crash sustained unknown injuries as the result. The driver of the Ford, a 29-year-old man, was unhurt.
