3-car collision involving children reported in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials with the Corpus Christi Police department have reported a multi-vehicle collision involving two children on Holly Road last Friday morning.

The accident occurred within the 4800 block of Holly Road at the intersection with Everhart Road shortly before 8 a.m.

Police say the collision was caused by the 25-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2015 Toyota when he failed to control his speed and attempted to change lanes when it was unsafe to do so. The Toyota then struck the passenger side of a 2018 Toyota carrying a 34-year-old woman and two 10-year-old children.

Also involved in the collision was a 1994 Ford driven by a 67-year-old man.

No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash.
