3 injured after rear-end collision on East Ave. in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Three people sustained injuries after a rear-end collision in east Brownsville late last month.

The May 29th crash occurred just before 2:30 a.m. within the 2700 block of East University Avenue, near the intersection with Impala Drive.

Investigators believe the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet, a 20-year-old man, was traveling at an unsafe speed when his vehicle crashed into the rear of a 2011 Dodge.

The man responsible for the crash, along with both occupants in the Dodge, ages 52 and 26, suffered unknown injuries as a result. It is unclear if any charges will be filed at this time.
