3 injured following two-car collision on Staples St.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Three people were injured as the result of a multi-vehicle collision on Staples Street last Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred within the 5500 block of Staples St. near the intersection with Bonner Drive at about 6:45 p.m.

Police believe the 33-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2002 Ford failed to maintain a single lane when he collided head-on with a 2017 Buick.

The driver responsible for the crash along with both occupants in the Buick, a 50-year-old male, and a 78-year-old female, were also injured in the crash. No word on the extent of their injuries has been released as of yet.
