3-vehicle crash leaves 1 injured in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash near SH-358 earlier this week.

The May 24th crash took place at about 7:39 p.m. within the 5300 block of Betty Jean Drive, near the intersection with Williams Drive.

Responding officers say the 21-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2014 Ford collided with the rear of a 1997 Ford at a high rate of speed. The force of the impact sent the second vehicle into the rear of a 2018 Kia.

The woman in the at-fault vehicle sustained minor injuries. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
