30-year-old woman injured in crash near Brownsville’s Sunrise Mall

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was reportedly injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Brownsville last week.

The crash took place on May 27th shortly after 2:30 p.m. along the I-69 E frontage road at the Ruben M Torres Boulevard overpass.

Police say the 20-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2019 Toyota drove through the stop sign and was T-boned by a 2010 Toyota.

The 30-year-old woman in the 2010 Toyota suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. The driver responsible was unhurt.
