31-year-old man injured in Brownsville hit-and-run

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville reported a single injury resulting from a multi-vehicle collision early last week

The accident occurred at about 10:26 p.m. within the 1600 block of Elizabeth Street near the intersection with West 17th Street on Monday, February 15th.

Responding officers say the driver of a 2016 Dodge failed to drive in a single lane when the driver of a white Chevrolet drove through the stop sign causing the two vehicles to collide.

The unidentified driver in the Chevrolet left the scene of the northwest Brownsville crash before authorities arrived. The 31-year-old man in the Dodge sustained minor injuries as a result.
