34-year-old woman injured in collision on Ayers St.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman was injured following a rear-end collision in south Corpus Christi last Wednesday evening.

The incident took place at about 6:20 p.m. within the 2300 block of Ayers Street near the intersection with Baldwin Boulevard.

Police say the 27-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2001 Ford backed up when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front of a 2013 Hyundai.

The sole occupant in the Hyundai, a 34-year-old woman, was injured as a result of the crash. The extent of her injuries is unclear at this time.
