4 juveniles escape injury following Brownsville rear-end crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville responded to a rear-end collision near the Brownsville-Padre Island Airport Sunday evening.

The two-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. along North Minnesota Avenue just south of the intersection with Travis Road.

Investigators believe the 39-year-old female driver of a 2007 Nissan reversed when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front-end of a 2006 Chevrolet.

Luckily, neither the woman responsible for the crash nor her four juvenile passengers sustained injuries in the crash.

The driver in the Chevrolet, a 61-year-old man, was also unhurt.
