CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were called to the scene of a rear-end collision near the Crosstown Expressway last Tuesday evening.
The incident was reported at about 6:45 p.m. within the 1900 block of Tarlton Street just east of the Crosstown Expressway.
Investigators say the 25-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2002 Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to notice stopped or slowed traffic in front of his vehicle and collided with the rear of a 2019 Toyota.
Fortunately, no injures were reported as an immediate result of the crash.
