Four people hospitalized after rollover crash in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Another crash on the Crosstown Expressway at Horne Road has sent 3 people to the hospital.

According to KRIS, on Sunday around 4 in the morning a silver vehicle struck a car which was carrying 4 passengers, including a 2 year-old child. The crash caused the car to roll off of the Expressway. The crash also ejected one passenger from the vehicle. The ejected passenger received serious but, reportedly, non life-threatening injuries. Two other passengers were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle at fault left the scene of the incident. Police are still searching for the driver of the silver vehicle at this time.

This accident is the second to occur within a week on the Crosstown Expressway at Horne Road. The first proved fatal for a driver involved.
