SAN BENITO, TX – Officials with the San Benito Police Department have reported one injury resulting from a two-vehicle collision early last Wednesday morning.
The collision was reported at about 7:35 p.m. within the intersection of South 77 Sunshine Strip and North Dick Dowling Street.
Investigators believe the 20-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2000 Mercury ran through a stop sign and was struck by a 2015 Dodge.
The man was not reported injured as a result of the crash. However, the 66-year-old woman in the Dodge was reported injured. Details regarding the severity of her injuries have not yet been released.
