CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the south side earlier this month.
The March 11th crash was reported at about 8:40 p.m. along Yorktown Boulevard near the intersection with South Staples Street.
Police say the 17-year-old male driver of a 2011 Lexus failed to yield the right of way while turning left and collided head-on with the rear driver’s side of a 2016 Dodge.
Luckily, neither the man responsible for the crash nor the 39-year-old woman in the Dodge sustained any serious injuries as a result.
