Man presumed deceased after disappearing in Lake Corpus Christi

MATHIS, TX – Deputies with the San Patricio County Sheriff’s office believe a man has died after drowning in Lake Corpus Christi on Tuesday.

According to KIII, 68-year-old Philip Richard Boutin fell out of his kayak in the cove area of Lake Corpus Christi sometime Tuesday afternoon. Dive teams have been searching for the man over the course of the week but have not been able to find him.

Investigators are expected to bring in cadaver dogs while the search for Boutin continues.
