BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety reported a two-vehicle crash in the Cameron Park neighborhood last Wednesday.
The crash occurred within the 2500 block of Dennis Avenue near the intersection with Avenida Juanita just after 10:15 p.m.
Officials believe the 73-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2003 Ford backed out of a residence without checking behind her and was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet.
Neither driver was injured as a result of the crash.
