Multi-vehicle crash reported near Porter High School

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision near the Porter Early College High School late Monday morning.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Security Drive and East 14th Street at about 11:13 a.m.

Investigators at the scene believe the 60-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2010 Chevrolet took a right turn too wide and collided with a 2016 Nissan driven by a 22-year-old woman.

Neither of the women was injured as an immediate result of the crash.
