BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash near the Padre Island Highway late last month.
The collision occurred shortly before midnight on Thursday, October 22nd near the intersection of North Central Ave. and Padre Island Hwy.
Police say the 20-year-old female driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when she failed to control her speed and rear-ended a 2014 Chrysler carrying three people, including a 2-year-old child.
Fortunately, no one in either vehicle was injured as an immediate result of the crash. No word on if the driver responsible will face any charges has been released at this time.
