CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A vehicle with four passengers traveling on the Home Road overpass on State Hwy. 286 hit a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn and land upside down on the Crosstown Expressway access road below.
Corpus Christi Police Department first responders arrived at the scene of the crash at approximately 11:00 p.m. On arrival, the officers found one deceased female inside the vehicle. The other passengers in the vehicle were two children and a man in his twenties who was reported to have non-life-threatening but serious injuries. The condition of the children is unknown at this time.
The three survivors were transported to the nearest hospital.
This was a single-vehicle accident according to KRIS 6 NEWS, but the cause of the crash is still unknown. The CCPD is currently investigating the situation further.
