Pilot and student injured in place crash near Lake Worth

LAKE WORTH, TX –  KIII reports that two men were injured when an airplane went down in Lake Worth during a routine training flight on Sunday morning,

The jet, a Navy T-45G Goshawk, took off from Corpus Christi International Airport. When the two men were ejected from the aircraft, one got caught in power lines, the other was located by first responders in a nearby neighborhood.

Officials have not released the names of the two men involved in the incident. Both men were hospitalized, one in stable condition and the other in serious condition.

The exact location and time of the crash are unclear.
