SAN BENITO, TX – Officers with the San Benito Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle collision a few blocks from the Heavin Reseca Trail last Sunday morning.
The incident was reported at about 1:44 a.m. within the 700 block of Yoakum Street just south of U.S. Business Route 77.
Investigators believe the 47-year-old male driver of a 2007 Ford was inattentive to the roadway when he collided with the rear of a 2004 Saturn.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported after Sunday’s collision.
