CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – According to Corpus Christi Cronica, a pregnant woman died when she drove into Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area Tuesday.
Destiny Cortinas, 25, was driving a white Mercedes Benz when she plowed into a wall around 6:45 a.m. First responders extricated the pregnant driver and her mother, Gracelynn Stump, from the vehicle.
Cortinas suffered severe injuries and died at the hospital. Medical personnel was able to save the baby. The woman’s mother is being treated at the hospital.
