BROWNSVILLE, TX – Police in Brownsville responded to a rear-end collision in a residential neighborhood last Wednesday afternoon.
The accident was reported at about 3:14 p.m. within the 1100 block of Calle Galaxia near the intersection with Calle Espacio.
Police say the 59-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2013 GMC backed out of a private drive when it was unsafe to do so and was struck by a 2017 Toyota.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
