BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department have reported a rear-end collision near Olmito last Wednesday night.
The accident occurred along Cavazos-Olmito Road near the intersection with New Carmen Avenue just before 6 p.m.
Police believe the 48-year-old male driver of a 2001 Chevrolet backed up at an unsafe time and collided with the front of a 2014 Dodge. Fortunately, neither the driver responsible or the 25-year-old man in the Dodge was injured in the crash.
