CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Officials in Corpus Christi responded to a rear-end collision northwest of downtown late last Wednesday morning.
The accident was reported at about 11:20 a.m. on Leopard Street near the intersection with Mckinzie Rd.
Officials believe the driver of a 1999 GMC backed up when it was unsafe to do so and collided with the front of a 2015 Mercedes-Benz driven by an 80-year-old woman.
Luckily, neither driver was injured as an immediate result of the crash.
