BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a rear-end accident in the Cameron Park neighborhood last Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Old Highway 77 and Gibson Road near I-69 E.
Officials at the scene believe the 18-year-old driver of a 2011 Chevrolet failed to control his speed and collided with the rear of a 2007 GMC driven by a 37-year-old female at the intersection.
Fortunately, neither driver was injured as a direct result of the crash.
