PORTLAND, TX – Officials with the Portland Police Department responded to an auto vs. scooter collision on East Broadway Boulevard last Tuesday evening.

The accident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. within the 500 block of E. Broadway Blvd. near the intersection with Country Club Boulevard.

Officials believe the 36-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2012 Toyota was inattentive to the road when she collided with a 27-year-old man on a 2020 Daewoo scooter.
