EDINBURG, TX – Two children were taken to the hospital after a Chevrolet Trailblazer rear-ended a school bus Wednesday morning, KRGV reports.
The school bus was carrying 13 children when the Trailblazer collided with it. Following the crash, the Trailblazer driver fled the scene.
Emergency crews transported the children to a hospital after they arrived at the crash site around 8:15 a.m.
Police say the suspect’s vehicle is missing its front bumper. They are asking for members of the public to contact them if they have any information regarding the incident.
The exact location where the accident occurred and the current condition of the injured children are unclear at this time.
