MCALLEN, TX – Two people sustained injuries resulting from an auto vs. semi collision along I-2 earlier this month.
The crash happened on April 16th at about 7:19 p.m. along I-2, near South 11th Street.
Investigators believe the 29-year-old male driver of a 2012 Nissan was under the influence and traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2008 International tractor-trailer.
Both the man in the at-fault vehicle and the 50-year-old woman in the semi were sustained unknown injuries as a result of the crash.
