2 injured after Dodge rear-ends Acura in McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – Multiple injuries were reported resulting from a rear-end collision near Boeye Reservoir last weekend.

The accident took place on April 25th shortly before 5:30 p.m. within the 1600 block of South 29th Street, at the intersection with the I-2 frontage road.

Officers with the McAllen Police Department say the 22-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2016 Dodge was speeding when her vehicle crashed into the rear of a 2020 Acura.

Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor her 15-year-old passenger was injured as a result. However, both occupants in the Acura, a man and woman, both age 49, sustained unknown injuries as a result.
