2 injured following rear-end collision involving Peterbilt semi in Pharr

PHARR, TX – Multiple injuries were sustained as the result of a three-vehicle crash on I-2 in Pharr last week.

The April 13th collision took place shortly after 4 p.m. just west of the North Veterans Boulevard overpass.

Police believe the 74-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2013 Chevrolet was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2019 Dodge. The Dodge was then pushed into the rear of a 2010 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.

Both the man responsible for the crash and his 42-year-old female passenger sustained unknown injuries as a result.
