2 injured following rear-end collision on I-2 in San Juan

SAN JUAN, TX – At least two people were hurt as the result of a rear-end collision in San Juan earlier this month.

The accident took place on April 16th at about 5:30 p.m. along I-2 near the North Veterans Boulevard overpass.

Officers with the Pharr Police Department say the 36-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2009 Lincoln was speeding when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2009 GMC.

The man in the at-fault vehicle was unhurt. However, two passengers in the GMC, a 25-year-old woman and a 64-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries.
