2-vehicle collision reported on W. Owassa Rd

MCALLEN, TX – Police responded to a two-vehicle car accident in northeast McAllen Saturday evening.

The incident was reported at about 8:19 p.m. within the 1300 block of West Owassa Road just east of the intersection with North Jackson Road.

Police believe the 75-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2013 GMC failed to maintain a single lane when his vehicle sideswiped the front of a 2020 Ford.

Luckily, neither the elderly occupants in the GMC nor the three occupants in the Ford, including two children, were injured as a result of the crash.
