23-year-old woman injured after rear-end crash in McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – A 23-year-old woman sustained injuries after her vehicle rear-ended another near downtown McAllen early last week.

The March 16th crash occurred at about 6:19 p.m. within the 300 block of South 2nd Street near the intersection with West Dallas Avenue.

Police say the woman, who was responsible for the crash, was speeding when her 2016 Mazda collided with the rear of a 2021 Nissan.

The 73-year-old woman in the Nissan was unhurt. However, the woman in the Mazda sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
