23-year-old woman injured in Weslaco collision

WESLACO, TX – Officers with the Weslaco Police Department reported a single injury resulting from a multi-vehicle crash near Wildwood Forest Colonia on Saturday, February 6th.

The incident took place at about 12:40 p.m. within the 2500 block of West 18th Street, near its intersection with South Milano Road.

Officers believe the 19-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2016 Chevrolet failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and collided with the front passenger’s side of a 2005 Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old woman, sustained unknown injuries as a result of the collision.
