MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the McAllen Police Department were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision north of downtown Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported at about 9:42 a.m. within the 800 block of East Dove Avenue, at its intersection with Raphael Drive.
Responding officers say the 26-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2014 Chevrolet collided head-on with a fixed object in the roadway after failing to steer out of its way.
No injuries were reported as a direct result of the collision.
