3 hurt after Toyota rear-ends Honda in McAllen

MCALLEN, TX – At least three people sustained injuries resulting from a rear-end crash at a busy McAllen intersection last week.

The two-vehicle crash, which occurred on March 11th, took place at about 6:19 p.m. along US Business 83 at the intersection with Taylor Road.

Police say the driver of a 2017 Toyota, an 81-year-old woman, was speeding when she crashed into the rear of a 2005 Honda carrying three people.

All three individuals in the Honda, ages 67, 53, and 13, sustained unknown injuries in the crash.

The woman responsible for the crash and her 65-year-old passenger were unhurt.
