3 vehicles involved in west McAllen rear-end collision

MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the McAllen Police Department responded to a chain-reaction crash involving three vehicles last Friday evening.

The accident occurred at about 6:25 p.m. within the 1600 block of South Ware Road just north of I-2.

Police believe the driver of a 2005 Ford, a 16-year-old female, was speeding when she collided with the rear of a 2020 Lincoln. The impact pushed the Lincoln into the rear of a third unspecified vehicle.

No injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
