47-year-old woman injured southwest McAllen car accident

MCALLEN, TX – Officers with the McAllen Police Department reported at least one injury resulting from a collision on Elmira Avenue last Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. within the 2500 block of Elmira Ave. near the intersection with 26th Street.

Police say the 45-year-old male driver of a 2007 Ford failed to stop at a light or stop sign and collided head-on with a 2012 Jeep.

Neither driver was injured in the crash. However, the 47-year-old female passenger in the Jeep sustained a minor injury.
