5 injured, including 2 children, in McAllen crash

MCALLEN, TX –  Five people, including two children, were injured as the result of a two-vehicle collision in McAllen early this week.

The May 23rd crash took place shortly before 6 p.m. along Pecan Boulevard, east of the intersection with Gumwood.

Responding officers say the driver of a 2015 Jeep, a 29-year-old woman, was inattentive to the roadway when she sideswiped a 2019 Ford carrying two people.

All five individuals involved in the crash, including two children ages 3 and 10, suffered varying injuries as a result of the crash.
